Grading Day Fun!

The kids are all done school for the year and we decided to give them a little something for all their hard work. They wanted a new pool so that was the first present but it went up a couple of weeks ago so we needed something else to give them today. Everyone had a great year and even though they didn't have to go this week they all went until the teachers kicked them out yesterday, just kidding today was marking day.

Blake getting a preview of all the great things to come next year as he starts Primary!
Kohl is trying hard to loosen up some more teeth, his piggy bank is starting to dry up.

Trin going into sugar shock from all the goodies
Jay was at his friends house and didn't get home until 8:30, I made him wait for a while to give him his grading present because I was trying to get the pool vaccummed. He was in super hero mode or something after he got his gift.

There is a little store around the corner that the kids go to every once in a while to buy some penny candy, well that's what I called it as a kid, now it's nickle candy. I saw these pre-packaged bags the other day and thought the kids would love them, they were totally excited about these.

We thought it would be fun to do little coupons for the kids here is what they got. I think this was the most popular, there is a new little ice cream shop that opened in the mall that serves these little mini ice cream bites "mini melts", that are flash frozen bites a little smaller than a pea. They come in all kinds of flavors and are sooooooooooo delicious.

I thought occasionally the kids would like a break from their chores so now they can pick some occasions when they don't have to do their chores. Jay(Dishwasher) Trin(Recycling) Kohl (Bring down laundry)

This one is pretty popular, sometimes especially now that it is summer there are nights the kids want to do things and now they have an excuse to get to stay up.

The store I mentioned above, this way the kids can put me on the hook for buying their candy once in a while.

With the summer blockbusters coming out we needed some movie passes, next week I am on vacation so we will be doing some matinees in the afternoons before Carrie goes to work. Transformers and Ice Age 3D for sure and perhaps the girls are going to Sisters Keeper instead of Transformers

Finally no report can go without a little cash
