Let Them Be Little

It is amazing how great it is to have almost 3 days off in a row....especially when Matt is off too!


I got my days off changed to Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until six off ( in exchange for working until 1:30am and locking up the center) We managed to get a lot done this weekend but still have lots more to do.... Let's see how much we got done over the weekend????

Friday after school Trinity went to Zellers to sell chocolate bars then we headed to the movie theatre to see UP in 3D!

Well Saturday of course brought the end of dance classes!

Blake and Kohl had their recital dress rehearsals and Trinity had her last troupe class.In between classes Trinity went to Zellers with Matt to sell more chocolate bars for her trip to New York!

Trinity helped me with the hair dryer heating up the bags to get the color working.

She did get a few highlights to go along with the boys.

After dance recital I will take her to get her hair cut for New York!

Blake wanted his hair done too but didn't like the cap so I slopped some hair dye through his hair....he ended up with drastic change but we/he loves it!

Well after all the fun and excitement of the hair cuts and colors the kids headed off to bed!

and that is where I thought we were headed but then this is where I found Matt????

What a big job that turned out to be and I think we made it to bed by midnight...or possibley later?

So much for an easy job...

Time to call it quits for the night!

SUNDAY MORNING

We got a call from Jay around 8am to pick him up, he was awake and couldn't get back to sleep.

I tried to get him to go to bed for a bit since he was awake most of the night but he said he wasn't tired....

This is Jay minutes after watching tv on the couch..

Since Jay was sleeping I took the kids outside to play and we worked on getting the pool set up

Finally the pool is set up...

I surprised the kids and bought them a bigger pool this year (18' x48")

Kohl and Blake couldn't even see over the side to watch it fill with water

We ended the day with a delicious BBQ!

(chicken breast, pork chops and bbq potatoes and macaroni salad)

then I headed off to work!

What a busy weekend but we all had fun!
