Visit from Grandma & Grandpa

We had a surprise visit from Grandma and Grandpa this weekend, they arrived around 7 Friday night and we had a couple days of fun and relaxation. The kids really enjoyed the visit and all the attention that Grandma and Grandpa gave them while they were here. There was lots of fun, food and cuddles on the couch. Grandma took the kids shopping for some BTS clothes and Grandpa took the kids out for "Kenny's Pizza". Saturday was the calm before the storm as we were awaiting the arrival of "Hurricane Bill", it was a beautiful day and we took full advantage of the Sun by staying in the pool most of the day.

Riley was very excited to see Grandpa, I think they had some bond developed from the early weeks.

Blake had a great time hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa, here he is trying to convince them to jump into the pool for a cool down.

We managaged to get Breigh and Riley into the pool they weren't overly impressed with us, but once they were in they were pretty happy to have a float to rest on.

Here's Jay playing PEEK A DUCK, he might be as big as us but there's still a young fella in there too.

The kids were having a blast while Matt was tossing the kids into the air, here's Kohl surfacing from his "Cannon Ball" while Trinity is up in the air for her toss.

Grandma was taking it easy, we managed to get her up the ladder to stick her toes in but that was as close as we managed to get to getting her into the pool.

Here goes Jay up and over the shoulder, he's a bit heavy but they still managed to find a way to have a good splash.

Here's the proof, we managed to get Grandpa into the pool to cool down, I think he enjoyed himself.

Blake decided to give us an outdoor concert, he had fun anyway.

More proof I managed to get into the pool, I just had to figure out a way to get ready, starting off with a cool shower allowed me to get ready before getting the cold blast.

Uh Oh, Blake was having a lightsaber duel with Grandpa, it looks like he got the best of him here.

After swimming and enjoying yummy pizza we settled in for a movie night, I think we were too tired as most of us drifted off not long after starting the movie

Like Father like Daughter, Trin and Matt drifted off not far into the movie

Jay was game for the whole movie and stayed awake till it was over.

Kohl passed out on the floor, I don't think he managed very much of the movie but he needed the sleep

Riley had enough and decided he wasn't interested in the movie
