LABOR DAY WEEKEND
On the road to Amherst to visit with Grandma and Grandpa
Even though school started we haven't finished with summer quite yet, we hadn't made it to Magic Mountain so off we went. The kids were in such a rush to get to Amherst they even took a packed lunch so we didn't have to stop along the way.
As you can see the dogs were well behaved along the way, they cuddled in their beds for most of the journey
After a good nap it was time to check out what was taking so long so Riley watched out the windshield as Breigh sniffed out the route.
It didn't take Grandpa long to put us to work, we had to break in that new wheel barrow for him. The kids enjoyed helping and even took a little ride just for fun

It was time for some pups to get a good bath so Carrie jumped into the tub and washed up Riley, Breigh and Belle. They didn't complain too much and seemed to be quite happy to get all clean and fresh.

After much deliberation about the weather we decided to take the chance and enjoy Magic Mountain. It turned out really good as the weather was nice enough to enjoy but not hot enough to make it busy. It was a full day of slide, wave pool and don't for get the lazy river. The kids had a blast and we only left with a few bruises and a couple of dozen gall0ns of water in our bellies.Blake was pretty excited as he was big enough this year to go on some of the bigger slides.

One of Jay's favorite things from his week in Moncton this summer was the Go Karts, after MM we decided to let him show us how good he really was

After our full day of adventure we headed over to Bird's for Supper and a sleep over. The kids really enjoyed all the attention from Bird and Evaughn. We even managed to sneek in a little Chinese at the end of the night.

Flash Back to the Past
When we got back to Moncton Grandpa had some more chores lined up, this time it was a reminder of what it used to be like growing up on the farm as he needed some help with the sheep. I had to borrow some clothes as I didn't come prepared for Farming work.
