After what was already a long day at work I was ready to have a slow night at home, little did I know what I was in for. Luckily Carrie had supper ready and homework was done. With that I figured it was a good night to clean up the 10000 apples from the back yard ( They completely filled our large green compost bin ) and it was about the 3rd bin this year. I also mowed the rest of the lawn while the kids were helping with the apples. It was off to start the bed routine all was going ok, 2 down and 2 to go when I was trying to catch up on some blogging I heard a sound I thought for a minute was Blake tapping on his wall, after a minute I realized what it really was the washer was running over. The flood began and so did the clean up, the water ran through Blakes floor and flooded the family room. After a few hours of clean up I am now getting things back to order and when tucking the kids back in bed I find Blake tucked in with his new "Friend" Jordon, a Raccoon puppet he made at school today. He introduced me to Jordon earlier in the night and instead of reading him a story tonight "Jordon" made me up a story about Princesses and Dragons it was so cute to see his imagination in full gear. You have to know Blake to imagine the story he would come up with. Anyway seeing him tucked in with his little buddy was enough to give me some perspective on my night. I am know off to get more clean up done.
