THE 2010 OLYMPIC TORCH
On November 16th Matt will get to carry the 2010 Olympic Torch! Lucky for him his 500 metres will take place right here in Cape Breton.
Matt will receive the white track suit, hat and red gloves for his run. He wasn't sure if he wanted to accept or not but I told him this isn't something he shouldn't turn down. I guess it's the guilt of the fact that Lucy from his store has to travel to Truro for her run....anyway he told his district manager today that he would do it!!!! So no worries here, the tracksuit, hat and gloves are supplied BUT if he wants the torch he carries it will cost .....$350.00..... ouch! (phone lines are now open for donations LOL just kidding). I think this will be a great thing to be a part of. We will be there during the run and will get lots of pictures.
