Happy Thanksgiving Day

What a busy Thanksgiving day we had, we started off with baking some delicouse Apple Pie and Apple Squares, it was a whole family effort to make them and we used our basket of Apples from our tree.
The kids had some cool art from school

After our Ham Dinner and YUMMY Desert it was back to work on the Stump, luckily Joey arrived and gave us a hand again for the afternoon.

It was a lot of work but we managed to make a lot of headway on the project

The boys enjoyed watching Joey run the chain saw.

Blake had to get trained on how to change the chain, Joey liked having the help even if Carrie didn't like him playing with the saw.

Kohl busy helping to clear some dirt out from under a Root so Joey could run the chain saw through it.

Joey and I got busy with the axes, I think we were taking some frustrations out on the stump but it just laughed at us. Carrie got a little freaked out at us chopping with the axes but Joey and I knew what we were doing??? or did we???

The neighbor got tired of watching us work on the stump so he suggested hooking his Path Finder to the stump and pulling it. We took down a section of fence and he hooked on. It started to pull some but there is still a couple of big roots to work on so he will come back again in a couple of days and work on it again after we get to dig and cut some more roots.
