Let Them Be Little

A BUSY DAY WITH THE KIDS...

This is Matt's last weekend off until after Christmas so we took full advantage of our time off. It started off of course with the trip to the dance school Saturday morning for cleaning and Blake's dance classes then back for Trinity and Sarah's duo class ( I must say this is going to be awesome and fun when it's all finished). After rushing home around 2pm everyone piled into the van and off we were.....SHOPPING ( with 5 kids, Jay's friend Brooke came along with us) First we stopped off at the dance store, Trinity needs new ballet slippers, Kohl needs new hip hop sneakers and Blake needs new tap shoes. So we have everything figured out for sizes there and I will go back on pay day (FRIDAY) to pick them up. Then the mall. OMG it was busy, no tax day! Matt picked up my Christmas layaway at sportcheck, looked at games and accessories and ipods at Futurshop, ALL the kids stopped for a visit with Santa and put in their order for their main gift then it was time... time to head to the movie theatre.

MOVIE NIGHT WITH THE KIDS...

I took Trinity, Jay and Brooke to see Twilight New Moon. It was an awesome movie I must say and definitely left you wanting more.... apparently Matt snuck in with the boys at the end after their movie was over.

Matt took Kohl and Blake to see Fantastic Mr. Fox...

OK so maybe it was the best movie ever but it was the only other movie to take the boys to see. They did enjoy it and told me all about it while leaving the theatre... I think their favorite part was when the fox got his tail shot off, then I heard something about someone wearing the tail as a tie? Sounds interesting doesn't it LOL They had fun and quality time with dad so that is all that matters!

Blake was exhausted by and wasn't feeling well by the end of the night. We got some medicine in him curled up on the couch then got him tucked into bed. Right now he has a stuffy nose and looks awful. He even went for a nap this after and was a sleep in minutes. We are hoping it doesn't turn into anything more than a cold so we will keep an eye on him. Lucky for him the kids do not have school tomorrow... which now reminds me....when will I get to the gym tomorrow??????
