After the Santa Claus Parade it was snowy so we thought it would be a good idea to take some time to get some Christmas Baking done. Carrie, the kids and I had a great time hanging out and making cookies together. It was an afternoon filled with fun, laughter and great treats that we haven't had for a long time.
Our Chef's were ready for action in their Christmas Aprons and chef hats.
The kids attacked the mixer to get a sample taste of the delicous yummy treats we were making
Blake was very proud of himself for what he had mixed, the face tells it all.
Let the fun begin, of course Carrie thought it would be fun to have a food fight in the middle of our Christmas Baking, I'm not sure who won but I can guarantee you it wasn't me.
The Cinnimon cookies were all done so it was time to do a taste test with the critics, it appears we were given a very good approval rating...2 thumbs up.
Of course the puppies wanted in on the action, they were very well behaved while we were baking so Carrie gave them a sample too.
Breigh and Riley weren't done yet, we started seeing tongue pop up over the side of the counter and the dogs managed to sneak a couple of extra treats off the side of the counter...sneaky!
I have to give Riley an "A" for effort, after the kids wondered off Riley found their chair and took advantage of the situation to get up to the counter and get a better look at things.
