Last Sunday morning when I woke up I found Matt playing a game of Monopoly City (Jay got it from Gramma and Grampa for Christmas) with the boys. Trinity wanted nothing to do with the game. She has no patience lately for the younger boys...oh well her loss, they all had a great time. And you will never guess who won???????
Blake!
Congratulations to them both for passing their exams.
Kohl is now doing Junior 2 tap
Trinity Intermediate 1 Tap and Intermediate 2 Jazz
Trinity finished her solo this week and also her and Sarah finished their duo.
Kohl will be starting his solo next month and Competitions start somewhere around April 11th.
So here we are heading towards the end of January and still no snow.... The weather is getting a bit colder now with the windchill but no snow for the kids to play in :0(
Wednesday we were waiting for a good snow fall as it started on our way home from Trinity's Dance classes in Sydney. Everyone was ready and excited for a snow day...
Morning came, on went the radio then we heard the announcement....School was NOT cancelled. The snow had stopped and there was nothing but a scuff of snow on the ground. How disappointing for the kids.
Again the snow is gone.
Sure.....I think he just wanted to spend some time alone with his mom! :0)
Here we are again..finally the weekend is here.
I think the dogs were enjoying the quiet as well!
This morning I took Blake to dance class and cleaned the downstairs dance studio. Done for another week.
We rushed home afterwards and headed right to the movie theatre to see
Ok so I load the picture in french but you get the idea.....
We had a quiet night with Kohl and Blake. Trinity spent the night at her friend Rebeccas and Jay stayed over at Matthew's.
The house can get pretty quiet at times....
It was nice for a change to have Trinity and Jay both over with their friends, usually we have the extra kids...
(it doesn't look like this anymore. Jay is home and he wasn't long getting things set up again and online playing)
So what did we do last night with only 2 kids home....
We ordered pizza from Kenney's and watched I am Legend. Ok so maybe not a good choice of movie for the boys but the insisted on watching it. I figured no big deal, they were cuddled up with us and would probably fall asleep. Not the case. Blake didn't like the zombie creatures and he cried his eyes out when the dog "Sam" was killed. We expected nightmares last night so the boys had a sleep over in Blakes room and each boy had the dogs cuddled in with them.
Both boys slept through the night no problem. However they were up very early which wasn't good for us .... no sleeping in.
(Matt was just online but has fallen asleep on the couch)
It is going to be a super early night for everyone.
We rushed home afterwards and headed right to the movie theatre to see
"The Toothfairy"

I am too tired to change it.
This was another awesome movie and the kids loved it. Jay didn't want to go and stayed at Matthews so Trinity bough Rebecca along with us.
We are starting to make plans for our family trip to Walt Disney, Florida!
Right now I thing we are planning on going August 15th ish, 2011 (great hotel rates then) but of course after talking to a travel agent that may change... we are trying to work the trip in between dance competitions and recitals and of course the best deal.
We have been spending a lot of time on the Internet gathering information from resort hotels, theme parks and more. It is fun to hear the kids excitement and opinions on where they would like to go and see and which hotels they would like to stay at. As of right now we are looking to stay at the All Star Movie Resort. Great fun for the kids!

Well I guess this is it for today. Kohl and Blake just had their turn in the shower and are in their pj's already. So if I am going to actually get them in bed at a reasonable time then I should get going.
