A weekend full of fun!

The busy weekend started off Friday right after school. Trinity and Sarah got together and made plans for a sleep over. Not at all a problem with us considering Sarah is only 1 year older than Trinity (from Dance class also) and together they both act and play like to little girls should at their age. They kept busy playing pet shops, Trinity's iron bead maker, painting, movies etc...
So after the sleep over plans were arranged and bowling was finished we decided since both Matt and I were off we would take the kids to see a movie. Unfortunately there was nothing new playing for the kids since Christmas so the vote was to see Alving and the Chipmunks again. So off we went and I have to say I have never seen it so busy at the theatre. So we waited in line and waited and waited. The kids all gave us their treat order (special treats this time!) and then finally it was our turn for the tickets...... SOLD OUT!!!!
So we didn't get to see a movie Friday night. We took all the kids home and settled in for lots of fun!
How about I let the pictures tell the story of the weekend!
Kohl and Blake got into the easy bake oven. They both decided to make brownies.
In the oven it goes.... then the waiting begins.........

Trinity and Sarah having fun making designs with the beads. Once their designs were together they then needed to be ironed to keep them stuck together.

Jay had Mark over for the night. They chose to stay home from the movie so no disappointment for those 2. This is how they were when we left and this is how we found them when we got home....
Well at least they were out of trouble.

Time is up for the brownies,
Taste test.....
a little gooey still on top but delicious...
check out those eyes
Chocolate overload I think!
Blake's turn
Well Trinity and Sarah's cookies are good and he wasn't long getting to the brownie

Matt decided to join in on the fun with the boys. Turned off the war game and the three played the New Mario on the Wii.

The girls finally settled in bed with a movie.

And back to the games again... well I guess they really didn't leave they just put their Call of Duty game in again.
SATURDAY
Saturday morning Blake had dance classes at 10:30am and Trinity and Sarah used the downstairs studio to practice their solos and duo.
After dance class was over we drove Blake home to get ready for his friends Birthday party and the girls were scheduled back at the dance school for 1pm to learn more choreography for their duo. It is almost finished now. One more class should do.
Don't they look like they are working hard?!

We kidnapped Sarah again for the day as we decided to head back to the theatre to catch a movie. This time we all decided to go see " The Blind Side". This was an amanzing movie and I recommend this movie to everyone.

Well so far that has been our weekend with the kids! Today I am home with the kids and Matt is at work so it will be a quiet day at home then it's off to work for me at 6pm.
