Player of the Game

What is the true meaning of Player of the Game, in some cases it goes to the most improved, in some it goes to the player with the most heart. In the case of today's final Bronze Medal Game it went to the player that led his team to 2 wins and 3 very close hard faught loses. He led his team in scoring and played through being sick all weekend and injuring his foot in the next to last game. Jay won the Player of the Game and his coached told him that he was in reality the player of the tournament, they leaned on him to carry the team. It really is amazing to see the differance in these boys even from last weeks tournament the team is starting to play a lot better and it won't surprise me at all if they start to beat those top rated teams. Jay was very excited to get his plaque and is now looking forward to a light week, well maybe not they are right back to practice tommorrow night then they are taking the week off with no games.

Teammate Brandon won the award in the early game this afternoon. They both had a plan and talked about winning these awards on the trips back and forth all weekend, good job guys!

PS...they are already planning the next tournament out in their heads.
