We have had a lot going on here this past week and unfortunately our family blog got a bit neglected along the way, so here is an update as to what has been happening here in Cape Breton.

Last week we had quite a bit of messy weather which gave the kids a snow day!

As usual the kids are keeping busy with basketball and dance. Jay is playing his last game tomorrow night before playoffs after March break. Kohl and Trinity are keeping busy taking in as much open solo time as possible putting us at the dance school and extra 3-4 hours per week. Competition here in Glacebay starts the first weekend in April.

So if we haven't been busy enough with the kids....

let's add in what we have been doing last week....

We spent another couple of days shopping for the perfect front load washer and dryer. The good news is that we finally made a decision on Thursday and we are now waiting for delivery Wednesday morning.... I cannot wait.....no laundry hooked up since Friday and the clothes are piling up high. (sold the washer today!) So did we get the washing machine we wanted....I would say we got the set that was our 3rd choice. It is red...one of the colors we wanted but the win over the others was the $400 mail in rebate that we are getting back. That was the selling point!

Once the decision was made and delivery date was set up we then realized that we had a lot of work to do over the weekend. As usual we got the laundry room pretty much ready for set up and most of the mess is cleaned up.

I went to get the kids McDonald's for supper. Kohl stayed home with Matt and apparently Kohl stepped on the level and twisted his ankle. We didn't tell us until I found him crying in the bathroom about 3 hours later. His ankle hurt so much that he couldn't hide it from us anymore.
