INTERNATIONAL DANCE DAY/WEEK
As part of international dance week the kids took part in performing for a few schools. This was a great opportunity for them and it was all for fun!
Their first visit was to the school in Baddeck. Sarah, Trinity and Kohl got to perform their solos/duo with Amelia's dancers from Baddeck. Everyone had fun and they got the afternoon off from school! Blake came along for the drive.

Friday we were off to Ingonish
This was a longer drive for the kids but they kept themselves entertained with the view for a couple of hours. I would love to do this drive again sometime when we have time to stop and enjoy the scenery!

First stop was The Highlands Elementary School!

Their second performance was at Cabot...
Ready to go!

They supplied pizza for lunch
at one point I thought Kohl was missing put as the girls stepped back there was Kohl right in the middle of them lol Everyone seems to look out for him!
MMM...
After the show Kohl had an autograph session. When he went back to the kitchen for more pizza after the show (before heading home) he wanted more pizza and juice. That's when the High School boys came in asking him for his autograph and high 5's. I thought we were going to have to be escorted out the back door lol. Kohl loved every minute of it!

I guess that second piece of pizza before heading home wasn't such a good idea? The road was a little to bumpy and bendy and coming down smokey mountain just didn't mix well for him....
he had enough.....he covered the back of my truck and poor Trinity and Sarah right there beside him
Sarah and Trinity escaped the mess and smell .....

Tracey pulled over to help me with the situation....I had no idea where to start so I stripped him off to his undies, found paper towel in the truck. Tracey cleaned up the truck, I got Kohl changed, took a couple of pics lol then back on the road we were.
Thanks a billion again to Tracey for the help!
Kohl's comment once he was buckled back in was.....
"well at least I still have my smile"
Trinity not looking to impressed about sitting next to her brother again....but the rest of the drive was fine.
This was an awesome road trip for the kids and we would definitely do it again!
We got home early enough that we got ready and celebrated Matt's birthday. At lunch Matt, Blake and Jay went to pizza delight then we went to see a movie last night...Furry Vengeance...It was hilarious!
Today we will continue with Matt's Birthday celebration with hamburger balls, rice and veggies (his request) gifts and cake! The sun is shining so it will be a great day to be outside.
Maybe I will get my truck cleaned out and aired out!
