We decided it was a great night to have a BBQ and try to burn up our Apple Tree Stump. Joey arrived and the kids weren't long making him wonder why he came (kidding)
Carrie was claiming her real estate, fire side she took the fire poker role and was staying warm for the night
We had a much better time this night with our fire, the stump really caught on well.
The boys headed in for showers and bed after Kohl stepped on a nail, trin stayed out with us but it wasn't long before she was sawing logs in her dreams anyway.
Around midnight it was time to call it a night so we worked on putting out the fire for the night, it was really stubborn.
Sunday turned out to be a warm day, 26 by the afternoon with a little breeze it was pretty nice, we went to see Shrek 3D at lunch time and it was fantastic, probably the best Shrek since the first Shrek, too bad it is the last one. When we got back from the movie it was back out to the back yard.
To our surprise the fire was still smoldering at the bottom of the stump, we chopped a few more limbs away and hopefully with one more good day it will finally be gone.
With Carrie off to work and Trin/Jay off to youth group for the night it was time to get down to business with the boys and create some Easy Bake yummies, the Smore kit was the chosen one, we made 2 of the most messy smore cookies you have ever seen.

I would say this look says it all, I didn't get any so I can't say if it was really that good but the boys enjoyed them.
