It was time to head off on our first trip of the summer, Dropping off Kohl with Grandma and Jay with Bird were the main activities for our trip.
Who knew this was a sign of things to come, Kohl attached to Grandma, he was so excited to start his trip that he wouldn't even travel with us to Moncton.
Once we got to Moncton we were greated with a great BBQ and some delicous Strawberry Shortcakes, I think Papa got a little carried away though.
Blake managed to find a box of Halloween costumes and dressed up to scare everyone.
The girls decided to do some pampering and Trin got a French Manicure from Amanda while Carrie got an all over color and some hi-lites as well, looking good girls.
After delivering Jay and hanging out for the night it was time to head back to Amherst, the boys were glad to spend some time on their bikes and Blake even gave it a try with no training wheels.
It was beautiful out so we managed to get in some volley ball and Kite flying, everyone was just enjoying the hot day, while Carrie was catching up on some much needed sleep.
Grandpa and Belle were spending some quality time relaxing in the sun.
And there she is, looking great with the new hair style and some rest.
Blake enjoyed trying out Grandpa's Tractor.
Connor, Lannie and Chad came out for a visit and the boys had a great time having adventures in the back field.
Of course with all the heat it had to happen, out came the hose
After some fun in the sun it was time to head home with only 2 of the kiddies and the dogs. The dogs had a great snooze on t he way home.
A pit stop in Antigonish brought a little rest and stretch and of course a little snack before hitting the road for the final stretch.
