Let Them Be Little

I know we haven't been doing a great job lately keeping our blog updated but since we got back from New York things have been off the wall crazy. I am trying to get adjusted to being back to work and the last couple of nights have been a bit easier. I asked for my shifts to be cut back to 4 a week and I am already trying to pick up extra hours. Oh well see what happens when the kids are back in school...... speaking of school I can't believe they go back in 2 weeks, where has the summer gone? We do have some regrets of our summer vacation and that is .... no camping :0(

With me and Trinity away to New York, Jay in Moncton and the boys enjoying their week at the Jaguar Den Boot camp that took up most of the focus of summer but we have promised the kids that we will make up for it next year and get lots of camping done!

So this week.....no pictures yet.... we were stressed trying to make a decision on buying a new vehicle. Struggling with the decision to keep the white van or look into a 8 passenger suv. well we found one that we like (pricey) but unfortunately we were dealing with some slimy people at the dealer ship long story and not getting into it it would take to long.... in the end we thought it would be smarter to buy out our lease and keep the van.... which will mean lower payments! So that is where that stands for now...that took us all last week.

What have we been doing this week? Well it has been a hot one that is for sure.... the kids have been enjoying the pool (along with fighting and arguing but that always happens by the end of summer) You should see Blake swim now....he is a fish like the rest of the kids! And in our "spare time" we have been busy getting our kitchen cupboards ready for new doors. We just placed the order for ALL the upper cupboards and should have them in about 3 weeks, I can't wait to have this done....then we will focus on the bottom cupboards and getting the dishwasher moved ( and will probably need a new dishwasher soon) so add that to our list.

The kids are still enjoying summer dance classes. Trinity starts her lyrical solo this afternoon, she is so excited that she got dressed for it as soon as she got up....(she doesn't go until 3pm) I was just informed by miss Trinity that another Daily vacation bible school is going on this week so they will probably go tomorrow.

Well that is it for now the kids are wanting to go out to the pool....

Oh and the excitement here is off the walls with the kids waiting for their visit from Grandma and Grandpa on the weekend! See you guys soon :0)
