Wednesday was our last family ski trip for this season. It was a beautiful day with temperature of at least 7 degrees ( I think it was actually warmer than that????) We had a fun filled day and we all skied for 11 hours. We broke down over the last couple of days and picked up the kids skis (they were for Christmas) so they were excited to have their own equipment! We got home last night at 10:00pm and the kids weren't long getting to sleep.
Worth every penny and I was going to pay for another hour for him but Ruth had him on the platter lift and down his first hill by the end!
He was some easy to spot on the hills
Trinity ditched her jacket in the lodge and got back to the hills!
Jay, Trinity and Kohl going up the pallet lift together.
This is one place we can go that the kids get along great :0)
This is a view of the golf course just beside the ski hill.
Blake's first run down the partridge pass! He was some proud of himself!!!!
Blake heading up the lift...now the worse part of this is that if ( and I mean when) he falls of this lift it means either walking back down the hill or walking the rest of the way to the top... and I made a fair share of trips walking with him but by the end of the night I think he was getting tired of the walking and decided to ride the lift all the way to the top! Thank God!!!

Trin spent a good part of the day with Sarah so we didn't see too much of her for a while.
Blake wasn't impressed with me here...
After a long walk UP the hill after he fell of the platter lift I was in need of a rest.....
But he wanted to get going.
Great job Blake :0)
and of course she handled it with no problems.
Blake and Matt sticking together
Jay helped me coach Trinity and Kohl down the lower Red Tail hill. This one is a bit bigger and steeper. This hill is actually the bottom part of one of the chair lift hills which is their last step before getting their chair lift pass next season. God help me then, they will have the run of the hills. They both handled this hill awesome as well and by they end of the day were doing it themselves and yes they were some proud of themselves.
Jay and Trin on the lower Redtail
Blake was amazed witht he jumps and is determined to ski this hill when he gets older....and I wouldn't be surprised if he does.
I would say he was happy with that run!
Thumbs up!
He's one cool dude!
Jay and Blake having some game time together
Trinity enjoying some chips! She didn't stay long with us and was back on the hills.
What a view!
As the sun was setting the kids still weren't ready to go home
Kohl and his new skis!
Matt and Blake still going at it! We took turns with Blake on the hill.
Trinity with her new skis!
My turn with Blake down the pass!
off we go!

One of my favorite parts of the day!
They still don't look tired do they?
He convinced him somehow?!
Matt and the boys hung out in the lodge while I spent some time with Jay on the Chair lift hills.
Great news.... I didn't wipe out this time :0)
They really enjoyed skiing at night with the lights. By this time Jay was braving the chair lift hills on his own so we didn't see too much of him. However they know that they have to check in with us every so often.
Matt and Blake's last run on the pass. I did take Blake on the Chickadee once but it was getting colder and the hill was getting a bit icy so we will try that one again next season.
Packing up to go home...I think someone is getting tired.

left to right...
Trinity's, Mine, Blake's and Kohl's
(Matt's and Jay's are still on layaway, Matt bought new sunglasses and Jay got a new ski jacket and pants. They will both we fully equipped by next season)
GREAT EXPERIENCE AND MEMORIES FOR EVERYONE!
Video of Blake following Matt down the Partridge pass towards the end of the day.
He is doing amazing on the hills!
Blake describing how it felt his first run down the hill!
