We were reminiscing about some childhood memories the other day and I mentioned Jello Pudding Pops. I remember having these all the time when I was a kid but Carrie never had them so she looked up the recipe online. It was especially easy by the way, mix up a pudding pack with a little extra milk and freeze.

Blake wanted to help so he stirred up the mix, and
conveniently I spilled some so he had an excuse to try a little
pistachio before it was frozen.

Pistachio is Kohl's favorite pudding so he wasn't long cleaning out the bowl when it was empty.

Blake had to organize the different holders in just the right pattern

Now overnight they froze so the next day it was time to enjoy some frozen treats. Blake hit the chocolate ones first.

It was a beautiful day so it was time to dig out the pool and get it set up for the summer

We all worked together and made fast work of getting the pool assembled

We wanted to take some extra time leveling the pool and working out the wrinkles in the liner so the final steps took us to mid afternoon. Now that it's full and almost perfectly level it was
definitely worth the extra time.
I was on levelling duty and Carrie took over with the wrinkles.

Jay was relaxing, joking he did help with the set up.

Of course once we started filling everyone was excited to get in and get splashing.

The boys couldn't wait for the pool to fill all the way, but let me tell you that water was deadly cold.

As you can see though they really didn't care how cold it was.
